Version 6.0 of Cyberlink’s popular DVD software for home computer users still has that user-friendliness that makes it easy to utilize for the amateur. Cosmetically, the interface looks cleaner and you can now use a right-click feature instead of having to scroll down through various tracks. Video quality is cleaner than previous versions and audio now supports high-definition formats. So far, PowerDVD 6.0 has no obvious glitches to contend with which makes upgrading from a previous version an appealing factor.

Best:

PowerDVD 6.0 is easy to use and if you hate learning new software, then this is the choice for you, especially if you have a previous version. It looks almost the same, only tidier.

Worst:

You really need a current computer with the latest software and operating system in order to get the full effect of its versatility. If your computer is a few years old, you might as well wait.
